Ajman, UAE — In a significant leadership milestone for chess in the Gulf region, Ahmed Ali Al Raisi, Vice Chairman of the Ajman Chess Club Board, has been elected as President of the Gulf Chess Federation for the 2026–2027 term, following the recent general assembly meeting of the Federation. At the same session, Mohammed Al Kaabi was appointed Secretary General for the same term.

Mr. Adel Al Hashemi, Chairman of Lavish Perfumes Group, extended his heartfelt congratulations to both Mr. Al Raisi and Mr. Al Kaabi, highlighting this achievement as a testament to the strength and leadership capabilities emanating from the UAE’s chess community.
